As we age, the collagen and elastin in the skin begin to decline, and our skin loses tone and elasticity, leading to visible sagging. Ulthera is a non-invasive, non-surgical, high-precision facelift method that redefines contours in a single session by reactivating the natural production of collagen and elastin.

Treatment

Ulthera stimulates collagen by emitting ultrasound into the skin, renewing skin structure from within. To help stop the signs of ageing, smooth and reshape the skin, facial areas such as the eyelids, oval, neck or décolleté can be treated safely, effectively and simply, without social eviction. Body parts such as buttocks, knees, elbows, arms and thighs can also benefit from this treatment.

Results

Immediate results are even better in the 3-4 months following treatment. The effects manifest themselves in a more youthful appearance, firmer skin and better-defined contours. Depending on age and skin quality, this session can be repeated after one or two years.

Duration

The session lasts from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the areas to be treated. Ultrasound energy passes through the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen production by fibroblasts (skin cells) at different levels, smoothing and lifting the skin. The technique acts at the same depth as that usually targeted during a surgical facelift. After just one session, there is an immediate improvement (healthy-glow effect).
